My favourite place in London is a park in North London called Hampstead Heath. This picture was taken from Parliament Hill and it overlooks the city. Very cool!

Football at the Emirates
Earlier in the year, Mike and I got to see an Arsenal Football game. It was really fun and they won!!

Trooping the Colour
Trooping the Colour is held on the Queen's official birthday June 17th. Mike and I won a lottery through his work to watch from a Minister's office! We were watching from right above the parade grounds.
Over 1400 officers and men are on parade, together with two hundred horses; over four hundred musicians from ten bands and corps of drums march and play as one. Some 113 words of command are given by the Officer in Command of the Parade. The parade route extends from Buckingham Palace along The Mall to Horse Guards Parade, Whitehall and back again.
