The British Museum is really impressive...highly recommended for visitors! Mike and I saw the Rosetta Stone here.

Hampstead Heath
My favourite place in London is a park in North London called Hampstead Heath. This picture was taken from Parliament Hill and it overlooks the city. Very cool!
Football at the Emirates
Earlier in the year, Mike and I got to see an Arsenal Football game. It was really fun and they won!!

This is the outside of the fortress. The Tower of London is located in southern London.

Trooping the Colour
Trooping the Colour is held on the Queen's official birthday June 17th. Mike and I won a lottery through his work to watch from a Minister's office! We were watching from right above the parade grounds.
Over 1400 officers and men are on parade, together with two hundred horses; over four hundred musicians from ten bands and corps of drums march and play as one. Some 113 words of command are given by the Officer in Command of the Parade. The parade route extends from Buckingham Palace along The Mall to Horse Guards Parade, Whitehall and back again.

The Party

The YMCA...I had no idea Brits liked that song so much!
Julie caught the bouquet but Phil and Caz got engaged a few weeks after our wedding. So exciting!

Our London flat
I moved to London October 2007 and I can't believe I have been living here 7 months! Mike and I have a flat in East London in a place called Hackney. Here is a picture of out flat!
